SAAC camp in Kühtai

07.12. & 08.12.2023

At SAAC, tour and freeride fans have had the opportunity to obtain free information about alpine dangers and to practise vital measures for emergencies for many years. State-certified mountain and ski guides give important tips, point out frequent mistakes and tell you how the use of an avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel works. The camp begins with a three-hour theoretical part. On the second day, small groups will go off into the field.

Participation in the SAAC Basic Camp was free of charge. The emergency equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe) could also be borrowed free of charge. All skiers and snowboarders aged 14 and over who bring sufficient skiing skills for the terrain could take part and register in good time. The number of participants was limited to 50.
