Powerplant Group Sellrain-Silz, Powerplant Kühtai

The Finstertalspeicher consists of the power plants Kühtai and Silz and the reservoirs and Finstertal Längental. The Finstertal, with 60 million cubic meters capacity, will be completed by a 149 meter high dam.

It is filled via the Pumpspeicherwerk Kühtai with large outflows of spring and summer months and emptied during the winter to produce electricity.
