KPark Kühtai − the snowpark near Innsbruck

The KPark in Kühtai with its three areas is a true shred mecca for riders.

Only 30 minutes away from Innsbruck you have the possibility to show off your favorite tricks in a great environment. The Snowpark Kühtai is shaped, as in previous years, by the company Schneestern, which implements snowparks and funparks worldwide.

This season there are again some adjustments in the 3 areas, but basically the successful concept of last winter will be continued: There is the FreeStyle-Area with a variety of creative obstacles, the SnowCross track for all speed junkies and the KidsPark for kids and funpark newbies.

The information about the open areas can be found on the page Lifts & Pistes.

Kpark Kühtai – the snowpark setup

Thanks to the crew of Schneestern, who built e.g. the SlopeStyle for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, a great park setup will be created again this year. You can expect a kicker line, the creative line and the jib line with 2 lines with different levels of difficulty. Come by and let off steam on various kickers, boxes, rails and more – there are no limits to your creativity.

Beginners also get their money's worth in Kühtai. Both children and adults are welcome in the KidsPark (beginner).

FREESTYLE-AREA

The FreeStyle-Area is located again this year at the WiesBergBahn. The start is directly at the top station, so this part of the KPark is located in an ideal terrain or angle of inclination, which makes the lines manageable for more riders. In addition, this location is very sunny – so basically nothing stands in the way of a shred session in the sunshine. Accessible via the WiesBergBahn, the DreiSeenBahn and the GaisKogelBahn.

The FreeStyle area offers a variety of creative obstacles with a focus on medium lines.

  • Kicker-Line with Kicker Sidehit, 1 × 12 m and 1 × 15 m Kicker and 1 × 8 m and 1 × 10 m Kicker and Postbox as well as Double Kinkedbox
  • Fun-Line with C-Rail, Multibox and Wallride
  • Jib-Line with 2 Lines:
    1. Line: Downrail, Postbox Kinked, Industry Rail, Hip, Lollipop, Rainbow Industry, Downrail and Waterfall.
    2. Line: Downtube 5 m, Elephant Boxrail 6 m, Hip, Tank, Kicker 4 m Sidehit, Downbox and Flat-Down Box

SNOWCROSS

For all speed junkies there is the SnowCross course with lots of hills and jumps in the Funpark in Kühtai: Here both snowboarders and skiers can battle it out. A real adrenaline kick! The course offers various challenges and is prepared at different angles of inclination to challenge the riding skills of the riders.

Since 2006, the competition has been part of the program of the Winter Olympics.

KIDSPARK (beginner)

The KidsPark (beginner) in Kühtai is not only a snowpark for kids, but also for beginners. Everyone who wants to try jumping, sliding and jibbing will find the right elements in the KPark Kühtai to approach as safely as possible. In addition to various obstacles such as boxes and rails, there are also 4 small jumps that allow the first airtime.
You will find the KidsPark just above the FreeStyle-Area. Accessible via the DreiSeenBahn and the GaisKogelBahn.

Riders of all ages are welcome here!
