1st day
From Kühtai (e.g. Dortmunder Hut) through the Mittertal – Th.-Streich-Weg – Mittertaler Scharte (2.531m) – to the Neue Bielefelder Hut (2.112 m). 4 hours

2nd day
From the Neue Bielefelder Hut (2,112 m) – W.-Oltrogge path – Niederreichscharte (2,769 m) – Hochreichscharte (2,912 m) – to the Guben-Schweinfurt Hut (2,028 m). 6 hours

3rd day
a) From the Guben-Schweinfurter Hut (2,028 m) – Gubener Weg – Finstertaler Scharte (2,777 m) – to Kühtai. 4 ½ hours
b) From the Guben-Schweinfurter Hut (2,028 m) – Gleirschjöchl (2,751 m) – to the Pforzheimer Hut (2,310 m). 3 hours
c) From the Guben-Schweinfurter Hut (2,028 m) – Gubener Weg through the Zwieselbachtal – Zwieselbachjoch (2,868 m) – to the Winnebachsee Hut (2,361 m). 5 ½ hours

4th day
From the Winnebachsee Hut (2,361 m) – Winnebachjoch (2,732 m) – to Westfalenhaus (2,276 m). 2 ½ hours
From Westfalenhaus into the valley to Lüsens / Praxmar / Gries or:

5th day
(can also be done on the 4th day):
From Westfalenhaus (2,276 m) – Zischgelesscharte (2,932 m) – to Pforzheimer Hut (2,310 m). 5 hours.
From Pforzheimer Hut to the Guben-Schweinfurter Hut. Or from Pforzheimer Hut into the valley to St. Sigmund.
