This trail takes family hikers around Kühtai. You can see the village from different perspectives and avoid the road almost completely. Along the way, you have the opportunity to stop off at several huts and inns.
Start at the HochAlterBahn valley station with free parking or right next to it at Gasthof Sonne & Schnee, 2. 020 m, slightly uphill to the mountain station of the StartBahn, then slightly downhill to the Dorfstadl, behind the Dorfstadl to the road, on the sidewalk to the Jagdschloss, there slightly uphill, along the path to the valley station of the KaiserBahn, on to the Dortmunder Hütte, across the road on the path back to the Höhenleistungszentrum Kühtai, then slightly uphill again to Kühtai, behind the church back towards the Talstation HochAlterBahn.

The DreiSeenBahn takes you quickly up to 2,410 m. From there, you can walk past the Upper Plenderlessee lake to the DreiSeen hut at 2,311 m in just 8 minutes, which is located directly on the Lower Plenderlessee lake and offers refreshments. The descent is then via the middle of the Plenderlesseen lakes, on to Hirschebensee (2,164 m), past the Kühtai high altitude performance center back to the valley station.
