Safety Shredders Freeride Event

The Safety Shredders Freeride Events are designed to make young riders between the ages of 10 and 16 aware of the dangers on the mountain. We want to highlight where the risks are low, but also where the limits lie. Starting with the youngest participants, we aim to raise awareness about dangers and safety measures on the mountain. Of course, we also want to provide important guidance on what we must never neglect when riding off-piste.

With professional support from state-certified mountain guides, you’ll learn the essentials for minimizing risk while freeriding off the slopes. By riding alongside the athletes, you’ll get to experience freeriding firsthand and realize how important it is to stay constantly informed about snow and avalanche conditions. In addition, workshops in the park, on the pistes, and in the backcountry with experienced freeride and freestyle coaches will help you refine your skiing technique and style.

Target Audience

The weekend and week-long camps are for children and teens who are already solid on skis and prefer to spend their free time skiing off-piste. The program is especially geared toward teens who have primarily focused on ski training so far but are now increasingly drawn to off-piste skiing. Do you want to be able to ski responsibly and safely in those areas? Do you want to know why you should carry a backpack with essential gear when skiing off-piste, and why it’s absolutely essential to maintain a safe distance when skiing in powder? Then sign up. The weekends are designed to be an introductory program that raises awareness.

For anyone who wants to dive deeper into freeriding, there’s also a 5-day program during the semester break featuring freeride training, safety skills improvement, and plenty of fun with our pros.
