The covered KühTeppich—which is therefore protected from wind and weather—delights not only our younger guests and beginner skiers.

At 204 meters long, it is the longest covered conveyor belt in Austria. This easy-to-use and, above all, safe lift is fun and suitable even for children as young as 3 years old. In addition to the wide blue practice slope for children and beginner skiers, there’s also a connection from the KühTeppich exit to the valley station of the HochAlterbahn and the StartBahn.

In addition, a red run provides access to the GaisKogelBahn, so that all skiers coming from the HochAlterBahn can reach the GaisKogelBahn valley station directly via runs No. 2 and No. 3. The Kühtai Loop can therefore be completed in both directions, as the KühTeppich also connects the GaisKogelbahn valley station to the HochAlterBahn valley station.
