Tours with Overnight Stays

If you want to experience the mountains more fully, simply stay out longer. Various tours wind through the high-alpine landscape around Kühtai and combine varied stages with overnight stays at mountain huts.

1: From Kühtai (e.g., Dortmunder Hütte) through the Mittertal Valley—Th.-Streich Trail—Mittertaler Scharte (2,531 m)—to the Neue Bielefelder Hütte (2,112 m). 4 hours

2 From the Neue Bielefelder Hütte (2,112 m) – via the W. Oltrogge Trail – the Niederreichscharte (2,769 m) – the Hochreichscharte (2,912 m) – to the Guben-Schweinfurter Hut (2,028 m). 6 hours

3 a) From the Guben-Schweinfurter Hut (2,028 m) – via the Gubener Trail – the Finstertaler Scharte (2,777 m) – to Kühtai. 4½ hours
b) From the Guben-Schweinfurter Hut (2,028 m) – via the Gleirschjöchl (2,751 m) – to the Pforzheimer Hut (2,310 m). 3 hours
c) From the Guben-Schweinfurter Hut (2,028 m) – via the Gubener Weg through the Zwieselbachtal valley to the Zwieselbachjoch (2,868 m) – and on to the Winnebachseehütte (2,361 m). 5 ½ hours

4 From the Winnebachseehütte (2,361 m) – over the Winnebachjoch (2,732 m) – to the Westfalenhaus (2,276 m). 2 ½ hours
