Ötztal Cycling Marathon

On your bikes, get set, go!

Every year, countless cyclists set out to fulfill a dream—to conquer the Ötztaler Cycling Marathon. To do so, each rider must prove they have an iron will and plenty of muscle power. But that makes the moment of crossing the finish line all the more precious.

Over 4,000 road cyclists will take the starting line on Sunday, August 29, 2027, to tackle 227 kilometers, 4 Alpine passes (Kühtai, Brenner, Jaufen Pass, and Timmelsjoch), and an incredible 5,500 meters of elevation gain. The fastest riders will take just over seven hours. A spectacular sight for all spectators, too!
