„risk‘n‘fun“ in Kühtai

From 30.01. to 03.02.23 (Session I) and from 06.02. to 10.02.23 (Session II) the “risk'n'fun” programme for freeriders aged 16 and over will once again take place in Kühtai.

For 20 years now, risk'n'fun FREERIDE has been offering four training levels with different content to accompany freeriders on their way from runs in the terrain close to the slopes to high alpine ventures. “Perceive – judge – decide” is the guiding principle that provides the foundation for Training Session, Next Level, Backcountry Pro and ALPINE PROFESSIONALS.

In the first week of January, the LOCALS appointments for local young people in their winter sports areas follow the programme. The risk'n'fun team comes directly to them and spends the whole day with the 14- to 16-year-olds on snowboards or skis in the terrain. Runs are examined together and topics such as communication with each other or the correct use of emergency equipment are discussed. The LOCALS dates are always chosen at short notice. This year, the Alpenvereinsjugend is underlining its long-standing commitment to the training of young freeriders by offering specially subsidised packages for pupils, students, civil and military servants during the semester break.
