A challenge for all racing cyclists who want to test their physical condition and mental strength. It doesn’t matter where you start (Kematen, Ötz or Haiming) – the Kühtai Rodeo is considered to be one of the hardest mountain routes for racing cyclists in Tyrol with a total of 122 kilometers and 4,250 meters in altitude.
The "Kühtai Rodeo" is a challenge for itself and for everyone who wants to test their condition and mental strength - the perfect preparation for the Ötztal Cycle Marathon!
At the Kühtai Rodeo there are 3 starting points where you can start on one day.
1. from Kematen
2. from Oetz
3. from Haiming
The Kühtai can be reached from these points by racing bike - a real challenge, because no matter where you start from - the Kühtai is considered one of the toughest mountain routes around Innsbruck.
Once you have completed the route from Kematen, the rodeo continues over the saddle to Haiming and from there back over the saddle. This is followed by the second descent to Ötz, from where it goes back to Kühtai. The end is the rapid descent down to Kematen.
