Even the trip to the Kühtai is an experience, go but – regardless of which side you come – by an overwhelming mountainous country
From Oetz the well-developed country road L237 leads through ruggedly romantic Nedertal. We are passing the small village of Ochsengarten, then have it only about 7 km to Kühtai. Or select a route from Kematen via Sellraintal (L13), by Sellrain, Gries and St. Sigmund. In just half an hour's drive so most “promising” from the Inn Valley in the high mountains.
The village of Kühtai at 2,020 meters above sea level is the ideal location for long and short hikes or mountain biking – tours or challenging climbing adventure. With the DreiSeenBahn you achieve even loftier heights of over 2,400 meters in the shortest time. From there you go on foot, for example, back down to Finstertal reservoir, over to Panorama Mountain climbing or even further up, about the Sulzkogel, one of 3,000 m around Kühtai.
Whether easily by car or public bus, by motorbike or actively by bike or mountain bike. Kühtai is not far – and above all: always worth a visit.
